Israel has reopened Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and the Church of Holy Sepulchre in occupied East Jerusalem after a six-week closure.
Around 3,000 people prayed at the holy site on Thursday. But shortly after it opened, a group of far-right Israelis stormed the compound.
Palestinians had been barred from entering them since the US and Israel launched their war on Iran at the end of February.
