Oil prices continue to fluctuate as the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial waterway through which a fifth of the world’s crude typically passes remains shut and the war shows no signs of relenting.

Muyu Xu is a senior crude oil analyst at Kpler and she told Al Jazeera that uncertainty around the direction the war is taking means oil prices are likely to remain high.
