The Earth’s magnetic field is continuously weakening and is heading towards a pole reversal in the form of a pole excursion similar to the Laschamp event. The natural disasters in former periods with a very weak Earth magnetic field decimated humanity and caused the extinction of animal species so that they have been interpreted as the end of the world or a transition to a new world. But the survivors had to rebuild society and supplies on the same planet Earth. Among the challenges are power outages, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions as well as the increased exposition to cosmic radiation, with all their impacts. In order to limit the loss of people, nature, and technology, and to avoid a technological regression to the Stone Age, international cooperation particularly regarding research, reforestation, and disaster preparedness, and much human work power are urgently required

Instead, there are efforts, most clearly visible in the current war of aggression against Iran, to bring about the final battle prophesied in the Armageddon narrative right now. A revelation is neither an instruction nor an authorization for humans to play God and enforce their interpretation of the revelation. There is strong evidence to suggest that the Armageddon story itself arose from humanity’s experience with a previous magnetic reversal. We obviously cannot afford an additional mass destruction of life and of natural resources orchestrated by ideologically driven individuals.
